Trusts

A revocable trust is a document  created by you to manage your assets during your lifetime and distribute the remaining assets after your death. Revocable trusts  are known for being a method of avoiding probate by effecting the transfer of assets during your lifetime to the trustee. 

Trusts are also formed to protect assets, and it is common for trusts to be used in the development of a estate plan.
